Please attend the first monthly presentation of psycho-educational information with Dr. Carolyn Davis, a licensed psychologist, and expert in the field of sport and performance psychology. In this workshop, Dr. Davis will discuss the process of what is means to live a healthy lifestyle holistically, and the many roadblocks individuals experience on their way to becoming healthy! Davis believes that often it is not our lack of willpower or the inability of our physical selves to get on board with an exercise or nutrition plan that keeps us from being successful, it is the difficulty we face navigating those mental roadblocks or the “invisible enemies” that get in our way such as poor planning, the lack of information regarding food and it’s role for our bodies, self-esteem concerns, negative body image, negative self-talk, cultural roadblocks, and stages of readiness. web name finder Dr. Davis will discuss these subjects, as well as how to address these concerns in our fitness plans.
